There are several kinds of gujiya prepared during Holi like mawa gujiya, suji/rava (semolina)
gujiya, chandra kala (gujiya dipped in sugar syrup), dry fruit gujiya, chocolate gujiya, baked
gujiya etc.

Here i have a special Dry Fruit Gujiya recipe for you, which very tasty, healthy & easy to make at home. I am sure this Dry Fruit Gujiya will make your Holi more special.
Ingredients:
For filling:
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
8-10 almond chopped
8-10 cashew nut chopped
7-8 pistachio chopped
2 tbsp milk powder
5-6 raisin
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup powdered sugar
For covering:
1 cup fine flour
2 tbsp oil/ghee
Water as required
Method:
1. Take fine flour in a bowl, add oil/ghee in it & mix well.
2. Add enough water to make a soft dough.
3. Keep it aside for 15-20 mins by covering it with a moist cloth.
4. Take all the filling ingredients in a bowl & mix well.
5. Knead fine flour dough well, divide dough into small equal portion.
5. Make a smooth ball of each portion & roll into a small puri.
6. Place 2 tsp of filling on puri, keeping edges empty.
7. Apply water all over the edges, bring edges together, join them,
press gently. Now seal the edges well.

8. Trim the extra portion of edges with a gujiya cutter.
9. Repeat the same with remaining dough & filling
10. Heat oil/ghee in a deep pan, carefully deep fry gujiyas on medium
heat from both sides till light golden.

11. Drain on an absorbent paper. Let them cool.
12. Take gujiyas in a serving dish, garnish with chopped almond &
pistachio.
