Healthy Santa Hats


The main ingredients are banana, strawberry. These hats are very quick & easy to
prepare. 
This is a fun recipe you can make with the kids & kids will love helping you
to assemble these H
ealthy Santa Hats.

Ingredients:


2-3 bananas
10-12 strawberries
15-20 black pepper
2-3 tbsp mix of butter, vanilla essence & icing sugar

Method:

1. Peel the bananas, cut them into 2.5 inch long pieces.

2.  Wash the strawberries, pat them dry.

3. Cut each strawberry into 2 pieces, upper part with leaf to be used as cap, 
     lower part as base for Healthy Santa Hats

4. Make the small balls of mix of butter, vanilla essence & icing sugar, we 
    use these balls to decorate Santa  hats.

5. To assemble the Healthy Santa Hats take the lower part of strawberry, put the 
     banana slice on it. Make eyes with black pepper.

6. Now put the upper part of strawberry on banana to make Santa hat.

8. Add the white ball on strawberry's upper part to decorate Santa hat.

9. Repeat the same with remaining fruits to make other Healthy Santa Hats.

10. Healthy Santa Hats are ready for Christmas.

 Ladi Pav is a delicious & mouthwatering dish which is enjoyed by every one.These are
 close to fabulous Mumbai ladi pavs.  Ladi Pavs are easy to make,
light & fluffy with a
 good flavor and hearty texture. Pav mostly served with bhaji or batata vada, they
 make great breakfast bread with some butter, jam or chutney. The aroma of  Ladi Pav
 is so tempting that makes you want to eat it &  i am sure you will enjoy each and every
 bite of this.

Ingredients:


4 cup fine flour (maida)
2 tsp acitve dry yeast
2 tbsp milk
4 tbsp oil
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp  salt
2 tbsp butter
water as required


Method:


1. First sieve fine flour.

2. Now add salt,sugar,active dry yeast & mix well.

3. Add oil,mix well & make a soft dough by using enough water.

4. Transfer the dough in a  big bowl apply some oil on top,cover it with a kitchen towl 
     & keep it  aside for an hour.

5. After an  hour punch the dough, knied it & divide it in small equal portions.

6. Make a pav out of each portion.

7. Grease a baking try with oil.place pavs in it.

8. Cover the tray with towel & keep it aside for an hour.

9. After an hour pavs will be double in size. Apply milk on it with a spooon or brush.

10. Now preheat the oven on 200 degree celsius for 5-10 mins.

11. Place the pav tray in oven & bake them for 10-15 mins.

12. Apply butter to the freshly baked pavs,  it will soften the top.

13. Allow them to cool.

14. Ladi pavs are ready.Enjoy them with bhaji or  batata vadas.

Diwali..The festival of lights is one of the biggest, brightest & most important festivals of India.People make preparations to welcome the goddess of wealth Goddess Lakshmi.
People clean their homes, buy new clothes, draw beautiful rangolies, decorate their
houses with oil lamps to bring 
good luck & welcome Goddess Lakshmi. Families visit
each other bringing gifts & sweets.

During Diwali a lot of delicious & mouth watering sweets are prepared to celebrate the
joyful 
festival like Kaju Katli, Gulab Jamun, Besan Laddu, gujiya, Chocolate Rolls, Coconut LadduKalakand, Rasgulla, Chocolate Burfi, Chocolate & Nut Karnji, Rice Kheer, Balu Shahi, Kesar Peda, Khoya BurfiBesan Burfi, Chocolate Balls, Pista Burfi.......The list is endless.

The time of Diwali is one of the most festive & beautiful times of the year. Diwali is as much 
a festival of food as of light......so this year i am posting the recipe of Sugar fee instant Rasmalai......A sweet dish which can be enjoyed by every one, even Diabetic people can enjoy it during Diwali..... 

Sugar Free Instant Rasmalai

Ras Malai is a famous milk-based dessert consisting of soft paneer balls immersed in chilled flavored creamy milk. The main ingredients are cottage cheese, milk, sugar, saffron & dry fruits......in my recipe of Sugar Free Instant Rasmali ,the sugar here is replaced by sugar free substitute. I have used Sugar Free Natura to give sweetness to the delicacy.



Ingredients:


1/2 Litter milk
6-7 readymade rasgulla
1 spoon sugar free natura (use the spoon comes with sugar free bottle to measure)
4-5 chopped pistachio
4-5 chopped almond & cashewnuts
1/2 tsp saffron sokked in milk
3 tbsp milk powder
1/2 tsp cardamom powder


Method:


1. In a pan heat full cream milk, stir occasionally & allow it to boil.

2. Take milk powder in a bowl add some hot milk & mix it properly.

3. Now add the milk powder paste to the boiling milk, mix well.

4. Let the milk boil till it becomes thick. Now add sugar free natura       
    saffron, pistachio, almond, cashew nut,
 cardamom powder. mix
    it all the things well in milk & boil it again for 2-3 mins.


5. Switch off the heat & let the milk cool.

6. Now squezee the sugar syrup from each rasgulla & keep it in a big bowl.

7. Pour the thicken & cool milk over rasgullas & referigrate it for 3-4 hours.

8. Transfer it in a serving bowl, garnish with almond, pistachio, cashew nut .

9. Rich, creamy  Sugar free Instant Rasmalai is ready to serve.

The festive season of Navratri is here, It is the time for both festivities and fasting. 
people observe fast on all the nine days of the festival. people do not eat regular
food 
during fast. during these nine days people prepare many dishes which are
used during fast.


Falahari Aloo Vada


Falahari Aloo Vada is a vrat version of regular aloo vada which you can enjoy during this
Navratri Festival. Prepared with potato, sago flour, peanuts, ararot flour, green chili, salt
are main ingredients. Falahari Aloo Vada tastes really good.....i am sure you will enjoy this
recipe.


Ingredients:


2-3 boiled, piled & mashed potato
1 cup sago flour
3 tbsp ararot flour
3-4 crushed green chili
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp red chili powder
2 tbsp coriander leaves 
Oil to deep fry
Water as required
Salt to taste

Method:



1. In a bowl add boiled, piled & mashed potatoes, green chili, peanuts, cumin seeds,
    salt & coriander leaves. 
Mix well & make small balls of it. Keep aside.

2. In another bowl add sago flour, salt, red chili powder & some coriander leaves mix
    it well, now add some 
water & make a thick batter of it.

3. Dip the potato balls in the batter, cover with ararot, 

4. Heat oil in pan, deep fry the potato balls till golden brown fro both sides

5. Take them out on paper towel to drain out access oil.

6. Serve hot with green chutney or curd, enjoy your fast.

Ganesh Chaturthi  is one of the very popular Hindu festivals celebrated in India with a great devotion specially in the Maharashtra. This day is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesh, the younger son of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati. Lord Ganesh is the symbol of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. Ganesh Chathurthi is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi.


Different Kinds Of  Modaks Prepared During Ganesh Festival


Ganesh Chaturthi is a ten-day Hindu festival celebrated to honour the Lord Ganesh.It is observed by installing Lord Ganesha's idols at homes for ten days, worshiping them &
then finally immersing them in water. 
From Lord Ganesha's Isthapna to Visarjan, devotees offer various sweets and savouries to the deity, amongst which modaks & laddus make for the most prominent prasad of the festival, modak is believed to be Ganesha's favourite food, & hence he is also known as Modakapriya, someone who likes modak.
