There are several instant ready Gulab Jamun mix available in the market.....Some of the most popular ones are MTR,Gits, Nilon, Aashirwad, Chitle.....I have made gulab jamun with Chitle Gulab Jamun mix which contains all necessary ingredients to prepare soft & juicy gulab jamun.




Instant Gulab Jamun  (Gulab Jamun Recipe Using Ready Mix)


Ingredients:



100 gm Chitle gulab jamun mix
1 tsp cardamom powder
2 cups sugar
2 cups water for sugar syrup
Ghee for deep frying

Method:


1.Take out the Chitle gulab jamun mix in a plate.

2. Now make a soft dough using enough water & keep it aside.

3. Add sugar & water in a deep pan, heat it

4. Stir until sugar dissolves & bring it to a boil. 

5. When it comes to boil add cardamom powder & cook it for 5-6 mins.
    Sugar syrup is ready.

6. Knead the dough & divide it into small equal portions.

7. Take one portion & make round shaped ball out of it, make remaining balls in
     same way.

8. Heat ghee in a pan, add balls one by one in it.

9. Stir it occasionally & deep fry till golden brown on low to medium flame.

10. Drain gulab jamun  & transfer them in a plate, now add them in sugar syrup.

11. Keep them in syrup for at least 2-3 hours for best results, if you are in hurry you
     can serve Gulab Jamun immediately.

12. Transfer Gulab Jamun in a plate, garnish with chopped almonds & serve.

Meethe Shakkarpare is a very popular sweet recipe made during the festivals like Holi, 
Diwali. It is also known as Shakarpali, Shakkar Para, Shankarpalli, meethe shakarpare.
The best thing about this sweet dish is that it can be made well in advance & stored over
long periods of time.

 
Meethe Shakkapare


Shakkarpare is a simple snack food prepared with maida ( fine flour), sugar, oil/ghee This recipe is very easy & simple to prepare. Shakkarpare are served along with hot tea as a munching snack.


Shakarpare can be sweet, sour or spicy depending upon how it is made. I have prepared Meethe Shakkarpare (Sweet Shakkarpare) by using sugar, maida & oil/ghee as main
ingredients.


Ingredients:


250 gms fine flour (maida)
75 gms powdered sugar
2 tbsp ghee
Water as required
Ghee for deep frying

Method:


1. Sieve fine flour,add 2 tbsp ghee & mix well.

2. Now add powdered sugar, mix well & make a soft dough by using enough water.

3. Keep it aside for 1-2 hours.

4. Knead the dough & make big balls out of it.

5. Roll out each portion into a thick roti.

6. Cut into diamond shaped pieces. 

7. Heat ghee in a pan & deep fry them over a medium flame. 

8. Drain on absorbent paper. 

9. Cool it completely, store in an air-tight container. Meethe Shakkarepare
    are ready for Holi.
