Ingredients:
4 cup refined flour (maida)
1 big onion chopped
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda bicarbonate
2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tbsp oil
6 tbsp butter
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Sieve flour, leaving some aside for dusting, with baking powder, soda bicarbonate & salt.
2. Add chopped onion, sugar, milk, yogurt, chopped coriander leaves to the flour mixture & mix.
3. Add water as required & knead into a medium soft dough. Apply a little oil, cover with a
damp cloth & set aside for at least an hour.

4. Punch dough with your hands to make it soft & pliable.
5. Divide dough into twelve to sixteen equal portions, cover & let it rest for an hour more.
6. Melt butter. Flatten each dough ball between your palms, apply melted butter & dust with
flour. Roll into a ball again & keep it covered for fifteen minutes.

7. Preheat oven to 250°C. Roll each dough ball on a floured surface.
8. Pull it from one end to get the elongated shape of a naan. Cook in the preheated oven at
250°C for seven minutes.
