Chocolate Pista Rolls
(Pistachio)

Chocolate Pista Rolls



Ingredients:


1 cup grated khoya (mava)
1 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2-3 tbsp powdered pistachios
2 drops rose essence


Method:


1. In a heavy bottomed pan add khoya,powdered sugar  & cook on a low flame,
    stirring continuously till sugar dissolves & moisture evaporates.

2. Cool it completely, add rose essence & mix well. Divide it into 2 equal portions.

3. In one portion, add cocoa powder, mix well & make a ball out of it.

4. Place this chocolate ball on a plastic sheet & spread it evenly into a rectangle.

5. In the other portion, add powdered pistachios, mix well & make a ball.

6. Place pistachio ball on to a plastic sheet & roll  into cylindrical shape.

7. Make sure that both chocolate rectangle & pista cylindrical roll should
     be of same length.

8. Keep the pista roll on chocolate rectangle & roll it tightly with the chocolate
     
rectangle

9. Wrap this roll in a plastic sheet  & refrigerate till firm. 

10. Remove plastic sheet  & cut the roll into slices.

11. Chocolate pista rolls are ready to serve.
