Aloo Palak
  (Potato & Spinach)

Aloo Palak



Ingredients:


3 bunches of palak (spinach)
2 big aloo (potatoes)
1 big onion chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chilies chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/4  turmeric powder
1 tsp of red chili powder
1/2 tsp of garam masala powder
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

Method:


1. Wash, clean & chop spinach finely.

2. Pressure cook potatoes for 3 whistles, peel & dice them.

3. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, onions & sauté till turn onions turn translucent.

4. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies & saute for 1-2 mins.

5. Add  turmeric powder, red chili powder,salt,spinach & mix well.

6. Cook till spinach become soft.

7. Add potatoes , mix well & cook for another 2-3 mins.

8. Now add garam masala powder & mix well.

9. Transfer it into a serving bowl & serve hot.
