Modak is a must during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Modak is believed to be lord Ganesh's favorite food. People prepare different varieties of modak like ukadiche modak, fried modak, banana modak, mawa modak, chocolate modak, dry fruit modak.
Mawa Modak, also known as khoya modak is a quick, easy & delicious recipe. Celebrate this Ganesh Chaturthi with this Mawa Modak Recipe.
Ingredients:
1 cup mawa
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2-3 almond chopped
2-3 cashew nut chopped
2-3 pistachios chopped
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp ghee

Method:
1. Take a pan, add mawa & roast for 2-3 mins on low flame.switch off the gas.
2. Let the mawa cool for some time, now add almond, cashew nut, pistachios,
cardamom powder, powdered sugar & mix well.

3. Take a modak mold, grease it with ghee, stuff above mixture in mold.
4. Press the mold, open it & remove modak carefully, repeat same with the rest
of mixture.
