Arbi Leaves Roll


5 arbi leaves/colocassia leaves 

1 cup gram flour 
1/4 tsp dry mango powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp white sesame seeds
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp oil
Water as required
Salt to taste


1. Trim stems from arbi leaves, wash well & dry.

2. Make a batter by mixing gram flour, red chili powder, ginger paste, turmeric powder, salt,
    dry mango powder, coriander powder & water.

3. Take arbi leaves, spread gram flour paste thinly & evenly on each leaves.

4. Roll firmly starting from the leaf tips to the stem end.

5. Place them in a container & steam it for 15 -20 minutes.

6. Allow  rolls to cool & cut the rolls into thick slices

7. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds & sesame seeds in oil,
    when seeds crackle ,add  sliced rolls.

8. Fry roll slices till golden & crispy.
