Methi Khakra


Methi Khakra

Ingredients:


2 cups wheat flour
1 cup chopped fenugreek
2 tsp carom seeds
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp oil 
Salt to taste

Method:


1. Mix all the ingredients & knead a stiff dough by adding water.Keep aside covered for 15
    mins.

2. Divide the dough into equal portions. 

3. Roll out the each ball into very thin circles & arrange them on a paper towel separately.

4. Heat tava in medium heat. Add one rolled out portion of the dough, add oil & keep
    pressing & turning it on the tava not allowing it to puff.

5. Continue this pressing & turning for a few minutes or till it cook crisp from both sides.

6. Now the crisp rounds called khakra’s are ready.

7. Continue the same with the other rolled out portions.

8. Store in an air tight container.

9. Enjoy them as a snack or as desired.
