Churma laddu is a delicious sweet specially served in the form of prasad on any auspicious 
occasion. Ganesh Chaturthi is incomplete without Lord Ganesh's Favourite Churma Laddus.

It is made of wheat flour, desi ghee(clarified butter), beautifully flavoured with cardamom & 
saffron, dry fruits which just melts in your mouth.

Churma laddu is a traditional Gujarati/Rajasthani sweet which is most used sweet in all
festivals or any occasions. It is a recipe as rich as the history of these states & it is kind
of a multi step process, each step is important & vital to the making of the final perfect
Churma or the Churma 
Laddus.

Churma Ladoo recipe is one of the most delicious sweets you could have & what better
way than to make it for festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.


Ingredients:



200 gms wheat flour 
200 gms ghee (clarified butter)
200 gms powdered sugar
8-10 almond finely chopped
8-10 cashew nut finely chopped
1 tsp cardamom powder
Water as required

Method:


1. Melt 50 gms of ghee & mix it in wheat flour. Make a stiff dough using enough water.

2. Heat remaining ghee in a kadahi.

3. Make small balls with dough & fry them on low flame till  become golden brown. 

4. Grind balls in a food processor to get a fine powder (churma).

5. Now take this powder in a big plate. Add cardamom powder, almond, cashew nut
    & mix well

6. Warm ghee & slowly add it to powder (churma).

7. Keep mixing it evenly with the flour powder by rubbing the mixture between your palms.
    Make sure ghee temperature is manageable.

8. Now add powdered sugar to churma  & mix well.

9. Take a small portion of churma & make a medium-sized ball or laddu out of it.Repeat
     the same with remaining churma 

10. Arrange laddus in a serving plate. 

11. Churma Laddus are ready to offer Lord Ganesh.
