Chana Dal Palak

Chana Dal Palak 
(Spincah & Gram Dal)

Chana Dal Palak


1 cup chana dal 
1 bunch spinach chopped.
3 cloves garlic chopped
1 onion chopped
1 tomato chopped 
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
2-3 green chili chopped 
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tbsp oil
Water as required
Salt to taste


1. Clean, wash & cook chana dal with enough water in pressure cooker till done.

2. In a separate pan heat oil, add cumin seeds & When the seeds cracles add onions &
    saute till golden brown.

3. Add garlic, tomatoes, green chili, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder & stir. 

4. Add spinach ,some water & mix well.Let it cook till spinach done.

5. Now add cooked dal & water if required & cook for another 2-3 mins.

6. Palak dal is ready to serve.
