5 Spice Mushroom Rice

5 Spice Mushroom Rice




Ingredients:


2 cups cooked chinese rice
1/3 cup mushroom sliced
1/2 cup dark black mushroom soaked & sliced
1 tsp chinese 5 spice powder
1/4 cup green peas boiled
1-2 carrot grated
1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
2 tbsp oil
A pinch of sugar
Salt to taste

Method:


1. Heat oil, add mushrooms & saute till they are tender.

2. Add dried black mushrooms,green peas,carrot & saute for 2 to 3 more minutes.

3. Add chinese 5 spice powder, saute for 1/2 minutes.

4. Add rice, sugar, salt & mix well.

5. Garnish with coriander leaves & serve hot.
