Chili Panener

Chilli Paneer
(Cottage Cheese)


Chili Paneer



Ingredients:


 250 gm cubed fresh paneer (cottage cheese) 
1 medium diced green capsicum  
1 small diced onion 
2 roughly chopped green chillies 
5 cloves minced garlic 
1 tbsp corn flour 
2-3 tbsp light soya sauce 
1 tbsp tomato ketchup 
1 tbsp vegetable oil for deep frying 
Salt & black pepper to taste

Method:


1. Add few teaspoons of water to corn flour & make a smooth light batter.
  
2. Dip paneer cubes to coat them with this batter.

3. Heat oil in a pan & deep fry paneer cubes till they are light brown. Drain excess oil using a
    paper towel & set aside.

4. Heat some oil in a wok, add onion, green chillies & minced garlic,Saute it for few seconds till
    onion starts to get translucent. 

5. Add cubed capsicum & saute for few more minutes.

6. Add  tomato ketchup, soya sauce. Season with salt (be careful as the soya sauce has salt),
    pepper. Do a taste test & a
djust the flavour to your liking.

7. Add fried paneer cubes & give it a gentle toss to coat it well with sauce. Serve hot.
