Garlic Kulcha


3 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
3 tbsp minced garlic 
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup vegetable Oil
1/2 cup yogurt 
1 tbsp ghee
1/4 cup cilantro chopped finely
Salt to taste 


1. Mix all the ingredients except ghee in a bowl.

2. Add enough water to prepare a soft dough.

3. Knead this dough for few minutes until it becomes a smooth pliable dough.

4. Cover & let it sit for 1-2 hours.

5. Now take a small ball from the dough. Dust it with flour & roll it into a circle.

6. Heat tawa & place  kulcha on hot tawa.

7. You can see  kulcha  is bubbling. Flip to the other sides when it has brown spots.

8. Cook both sides evenly. If you want a crispy kulcha, cook on medium flame until nice 
      crisp on both sides.

9. Apply ghee & serve hot.
