2 cups refined flour (maida)
1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain) 
3-4 tbsp kasoori methi 
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp red chili powder
A pinch of turmeric powder
Oil to deep fry
Salt to taste


1. Take refined flour in a bowl now add kasoori methi, carom seeds,red 
     chili powder,turmeric powder,salt,oil & mix well.

2. Now make a soft dough with the help of water & keep it aside for 10
    -15 mins.

3. Make medium size balls out of it. Using a rolling pin, make flat roti &
 cut into desired shape.

4. Repeat the same with remaining dough.

5. Heat oil in a pan & deep fry mathris on medium heat till golden 
    & crisp.

6. Drain & place on an absorbent paper. 

7. Cool completely & store marthri in airtight container.
