Sweet Potato Roti

Sweet Potato Roti


1 medium sized sweet potato, peeled & cut in cubes
2 ½ cups wheat flour
1/4 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1- 2 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste


1. Cook the sweet potato cubes in water till soft. Mash & let cool.

2. Mix together with all the other ingredients to form a nice pliable dough.

3. Let the dough rest for 15- 20 minutes & then roll into rotis & cook
    on a tava.

4. Serve with any subzi (vegetable).
