Medu Vada
Ingredients:
1 cup urad dal
3 green chilies, chopped
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp coriander leaves
Coconut chutney for serving
Sambhar for serving
Oil for deep-frying
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Clean, wash & soak urad dal in water for 5-6 hours.
2. Drain, & blend in a mixer to a smooth batter, by adding water.
3. Add salt ,green chilies, pepper powder, ginger paste & mix well.
4. Wet your hand, take some mixture & make a hole in the center of mixture.
5. Now heat oil in a kadhai, upturn your hand & drop the vada in oil.
6. Deep fry vada till golden brown in colour from both sides.
7. Repeat same process with remaining batter to make medu vadas.
8. Drain on absorbent paper.
9. Serve hot vadas with coconut chutney & sambhar.
