Pyaz Ki Kachori
( Onion Kachori)
Ingredients:
For the dough:
2 cups fine flour(maida)
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
1 tbsp oil

For the onion filling:
2 cups finely chopped onions
2 tsp fennel seeds
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1/2 tsp asafoetida
2 tbsp gram flour
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tsp oil
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Method:
For the dough:
2. Cover the dough with muslin cloth & keep aside.
For the onion filling:
turn light brown.
3. Add gram flour, coriander powder, chili powder, garam masala, salt & cook
for 2-3 mins.
4. Now add chopped coriander & mix well. Allow mixture to cool completely.
6. Divide the filling into small equal portions & keep aside.
For kachori:
1. Knead the dough to smooth & divide into 8-10 equal sized balls.
2. Roll the dough balls into a round, put one portion of filling in the center.3 . Gather the edges, seal it properly & tightly.
4. Gently press the center of kachori with your thumb.
does not spill out.
6. Prepare all kachori in same way.
7. Heat oil in a pan & deep fry kachoris till light brown from both sides.
8. Serve hot with green chutney, tamarind chutney or sauce.
