Methi Paratha
( Fenugreek)
Ingredients:
3 cup wheat flour
2 cups fenugreek leaves, chopped
2 green chilies chopped
2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Water as needed
Oil as required
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add cumin seeds. When they crackle, add ginger paste
green chili & mix well.
2. Add methi (fenugreek) leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, mix & cook till all the
moisture dries up. Let it cool.
3. Add 1 tsp oil, salt,1 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric & spiced methi to wheat flour.
4. Add some water & knead wheat flour into a soft dough.
5. Divide it into balls.
6.Take a dough ball & roll it out into a small thick paratha.
7. Place paratha on the hot tawa & cook it from both sides till it become golden using
oil.
8. Serve hot.
