Paneer Pakoda
(Cottage Cheese)
Ingredients:
250 gms paneer
2 cup gram flour
1/2 tsp dry mango powder
1/4 tsp cooking soda
1 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1-2 green chilies chopped
Water as required
Oil to deep fry
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Mix gram flour, red chili powder, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder,dry mango
powder,salt, cooking soda in a bowl.
2. Now add water & make a thick batter.

3. Cut paneer into thick triangle shape.
4. Sprinkle little salt, red chili powder & dry mango powder on it.
5. Dip each piece of paneer in gram flour batter.
6. Heat oil in a pan & put pieces of paneer in oil.
7. Fry till they become golden from both sides.
8. Drain & place on an absorbent paper.
9. Serve hot paneer pakodas with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
Good snack's for tea time.
