Ingredients:


For the filling:


1 cup boiled & mashed potatoes
1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp dabeli masala
1 tbsp fresh grated coconut
3 tbsp khajur imli ki chutney
A pinch of asafoetida
5-6 pav bread
1 tsp oil
Salt to taste


To serve:



1/2 cup masala peanuts
1/2 cup chopped coriander
1/2 cup  fine sev
1/2 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
2 tsp fresh coconut chutney

Method:


For the filling:


1. Heat oil in a pan & add cumin seeds.

2. When they crackle, add asafoetida, potato,red chili powder,turmeric powder,
    salt,dabeli masala, grated coconut & mix well.

3. Remove from  fire, add khajur imli ki chutney & mix well. 

How to serve:


1. Slit  pav horizontally without cutting through.

2. Spread coconut chutney, a layer of  filling on  lower half of pav.

3.Top with chopped coriander,peanuts,grated coconut ,sev, pomegranate seeds.

4.  Press slightly & Serve immediately. 

5. You can also serve dabeli by toasting it.
