Hariyali Paneer Makhani
( Cottage Cheese )

Hariyali Paneer Makhani




Ingredients:


250 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 tsp green chili paste
salt to taste


For green makhani gravy:

1 cup green tomatoes puree
1 tbsp chopped green garlic 
2 tsp chopped green garlic leaves
1 chopped capsicum
4 chopped spring onion greens
2 tsp ginger  paste
4 tbsp butter
1 bayleaf
5 cloves 
3 cardamoms
1 stick of cinnamon 
3 tbsp mava
1 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp honey
1/2 cup fresh cream
1/2 tsp kasoori methi
Salt to taste


Method:


1. Cut paneer into triangles, add the lemon juice, green chilli paste & salt, mix well & keep
     aside to marinate for fifteen minutes.


2. Heat oil in a pan, add the green garlic greens, capsicum, spring onion greens & sauté for 2
    minutes.


3. Cool & blend to a puree. Keep aside.

4. Heat the butter in a pan, add bay leaf, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon & sauté for 30
    seconds.


5. Add the green garlic, ginger paste, mix well & sauté for 3 minutes.

6. Add khoya, green tomato puree & sauté for 2 minutes. Add capsicum puree & mix well.

7. Add garam masala, honey , salt, marinated paneer pieces & mix well.

8. Sprinkle kasuri methi & remove from the flame.

9. Turn it into a serving dish & garnish with fresh cream.

10. Serve hot with naan/roti
